I've been experimenting with Bing.com Microsoft's new offering - and shock horror, I like it!
Have not really worked out why I like it (I couldn't bear Live search or MSN search). I think it might be to do with the cool picture on the top of the screen - it just looks friendlier than Microsoft's previous offerings, which were cold and drab.
I also like their new left hand column, which splits the search into categories (news, video etc) and also lists related searches. The tool bar at the top right (extras) allows you
But the best thing is the hidden stuff on the right hand side. Do a search, any search. When the results come up, hover your mouse on the right edge of the results. All of a sudden a line appears with an orange dot, and a little box pops up showing an extract of the page appears.
They also have a cashback feature on their shopping results - see here for how it works.
This is the friendlist search engine to come out for a while. As for the results they produce - they're not bad too. Microsoft might have cracked search at last.
